How does Bluesmart secure personal information
Our Site and our App have security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of personal information under our control. Bluesmart employs reasonable security measures consistent with standard industry practice to help protect against public access to personally identifiable and account activity information collected on and used by Bluesmart at this Site. For example, we work to protect the security of your personal information by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.
In addition, your personal information can be accessed by a restricted number of Bluesmart employees. We train our employees about the importance of privacy and how to handle and manage customer data appropriately and securely.
Personally identifiable information and account activity are also protected through the use of user names and passwords. In order to help maintain the security of your information, you should protect the confidentiality of your user name and password. You must promptly notify us if your user name or password is lost, stolen, or used without permission. In such an event, we will note that you have canceled your user name or password in our system and will update our records accordingly.
It is Bluesmart's practice to secure each web page that collects personal information on our Site. However, the confidentiality of personal information transmitted over the Internet cannot be guaranteed. We urge you to exercise caution when transmitting personal information over the Internet. Bluesmart cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not gain access to your personal information; therefore, when submitting personal information on our Site or through our App, you must weigh both the benefits and the risks.

For our record keeping purposes, we will retain certain personal information you submit in conjunction with commercial transactions.
Why does Bluesmart use "cookies" and other tracking technologies?
Cookies can also help Bluesmart see which areas of the site are popular and which are not, allowing Bluesmart to improve and update our Site based on data such as total number of visitors and pages viewed. Passive information collection technologies can also make your use of our Site easier by allowing Bluesmart to provide better service, customize experiences based on consumer preferences, compile statistics, analyze trends, and otherwise administer and improve our Site.
We may associate information we collect via cookies with the personal information we collect online. We may use the combined information, for example, to personalize your experience on our Site or to personalize marketing communications we may send to you.
What types of cookies and other tracking technologies does Bluesmart use?
Bluesmart uses two main types of cookies on our Site; session cookies and persistent cookies.
Session cookies are temporary cookies that expire at the end of a browser session; that is, when you leave our Site. Session cookies allow the website to recognize you as you navigate between pages during a single browser session and allow you to use our Site more efficiently. For example, session cookies enable a website to remember that a user has placed items in an online shopping basket.
Persistent cookies are stored on your computer or device between browsing sessions until they expire or are deleted. They therefore enable the website to recognize you on your return, remember your preferences, and tailor services to you.
In addition to session cookies and persistent cookies, there may be other cookies which are set by the website which you have chosen to visit, such as this website, in order to provide us or third parties with information.
We give users the opportunity to "opt out" of having their personal information used for purposes not directly related to the operation of the service at the point where we ask for the information. If you prefer to "opt out" and not have us send you material we think may be of interest to you, such as promotional mailings/e-mails from us and sites and companies we own or work with, then you can notify us by writing to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Your instructions to limit the use of your information will be processed as soon as reasonably practicable.
